About Ann

Ann Hadlock is a seasoned explorer of meditation, Jungian psychology, and artistic expression.  She holds a BFA from School of Visual Arts in New York, an MFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena.

Ann's journey as an educator brings a balance of contemporary therapeutic practices and the timeless wisdom of mindfulness. Her approach integrates Jungian principles, offering a profound exploration of the unconscious, depth psychology, and the collective psyche. She extends her experience to empower at-risk youth in Los Angeles. Ann works as a counselor for teens and as art teacher in underserved communities. In her roles, she guides individuals to find creativity, community, and passion for life. Before beginning her career in teaching and mental health, Ann wrote and recorded seven studio albums and toured in Europe and China supporting her music. In addition, she has had art installations in New York, London, and Paris.

Ann still maintains an active art practice as she continues to research Jungian psychology and art history. She teaches a balanced approach of mysteries, archetypes, dreams, the collective unconscious, and artistic creativity with science-backed research. This dedication enriches her therapeutic landscape, bringing ancient wisdom to the forefront of modern healing.
